On June 21, the ceremony will take place on the A10 near exit S108, close to the Olympic Stadium and VU University.

GETTING DRESSED FROM 15:00

We have booked a hotel room at the Stadionplein. This is where we will change clothes and then depart from here to the ring (highway). It’s nice if you’d like to join us in dressing up here and walk together to S108 (about 500 meters).

PUBLIC ACCESS WITH DAY TICKET FROM 15:00 (for everyone holding a ticket)

Access to the ring is open to everyone with a ticket, allowing you to get close to the ceremony. We have about 100 tickets available for those interested. You can also request free tickets yourself via www.opdering.amsterdam/tickets

THE CEREMONY
17:30 - 18:10 (max 30 guests on stage – the rest can be in the public area)

You can come close to the ceremony if you’re a in the public. However, the organization limits access, and only 30 people can attend on stage. These 30 seats are reserved for first-degree family members, witnesses, and the ceremony officiators.

CAKE MOMENT
18:10 - 18:30 (max 30 guests)

From the organization, each couple will be offered a cake for the same 30 people attending the ceremony. It’s a quick moment because we want to enjoy some drinks with everyone who couldn’t attend on the stage together afterward.

DRINKS AND SNACKS
18:30 - 20:30 (30 ceremony guests plus other guests)

We’ve reserved tables with drinks and snacks starting from 18:30 on the ring at ‘Aan Tafel op de Ring,’ close to the ceremony (about 50 meters away). We would love to toast and celebrate with everyone who wants to join, along with the 30 ceremony guests, in a lively setting with appetizers and drinks.

PARTY ON THE A10
20:30 - 22:00

The celebration on the A10 continues until 10 PM. There will be various activities: dance floors, classical concert, folk singer stage, and much more — check the program here

PARTY IN THE CITY
22:00 - ???

We’re excited, and the city is as well. There are plenty of parties throughout the city. Which ones and until what time we’ll confirm later. The wedding night will be fun, but eventually, the bride and groom might want to enjoy their wedding night a bit earlier and exit the highway together.

DRESS CODE

You’ll be walking a lot that day and later in the city, so comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing are advisable!

ROUTE AND TRAFFIC

Driving may be difficult as the rings west, south, and east are closed. All other roads, including north ring and roads inside and outside the ring, are expected to be congested.

Taxis will likely encounter similar delays as other vehicles.

Public Transport is nearby:
- Metro: Amstelveenseweg Metro Station (Lines M50 and M51) 
- Tram: VU Boelelaan Tram 24 
- NS Station: Amsterdam Zuid

The best option is probably cycling:
Bikes can be parked at the bottom of the S108 entrance.

• 15:00 - 16:45: Check-in at hotel room and lobby at The July, Stadionplein 260.
• 16:45 - 17:00: Walk to S108 exit.
• 17:00 - 17:30: Bride and groom/private guests to the ceremony / other guests / to the public area on the A10.
• 17:30 - 18:00: Ceremony.
• 18:00 - 18:30: Cake for ceremony guests.
• 18:30 - 20:30: Drinks and snacks at ‘Aan Tafel op de Ring’.
• 20:30 - 22:00: Party on the ring, likely at the Audio Obscura dance podium.
• 22:00 - ?? in the city.

PROGRAM SUNDAY, JUNE 22
16:00 – 00:00

On June 22, everything is much simpler. We are moving from the highway to an old Mercedes garage. The party starts at 4:00 PM at Studio Wieman, Papaverweg 14, Amsterdam Noord. We’ll have a DJ, tasty food, and a band to celebrate love in a festive way. Make sure you're ready for a party — and expect a hangover on Monday!

DRESS CODE
Casual Chic: chinos, a jacket, not too much — just dress as you like, probably warm weather.

ROUTE AND TRAFFIC
The ring road will partially open from 3:00 PM, so there may still be some congestion. Amsterdam Noord is more accessible throughout the weekend than other parts of the city. There’s plenty of parking nearby (€1.60 per hour).

PROGRAM
• From 4:00 PM – Studio Wieman, Papaverweg 14, Amsterdam Noord.
• Around 5:00 – 6:00 PM – Space for a few words or speeches
• From 6:00 PM – Walking dinner; you’re welcome to sit and dine.
• Around 9:00 PM – Midnight – The DJ will turn up the energy for those who still want to dance.
